  • As a student in a recognized college/university of Canada, you are eligible to work off campus without a work permit for up to 20 hours per week.

  • During Vacations students are also allowed to work full time .

  • There are plenty of scholarship opportunities for international students who want to study in Canada. These opportunities will depend on your field of study or research and your country of origin.

  • If you plan to study in a short-term program for 6 months or less, you do not need a study permit.

Application Requirements 

  • Acceptance letter from the college/university.

  • Valid passport.

  • GIC account and/or Proof that you have enough funds to finance your studies.

  • Proof of English Proficiency Test.

  • Academic Documents.

  • Receipt of Payment of Tuition fee.

  • Medical certificate.

Steps of the Application Process

  1.   2. Apply to the School: After the finalization of a program, we will help you prepare and submit your application. You need to have a letter of acceptance from a Canadian designated learning institution (DLI) before you can apply for a study permit.

  3. Apply for a Study Permit: With your acceptance letter, you’ll be ready to apply for your study permit. We will help you to prepare and submit your application to Canadian immigration after reviewing in detail.

  4. Come to Canada: If your permit is approved, the Canadian government will issue you a Port of Entry Introduction Letter. You must show this letter to the immigration official when you arrive in Canada to get your study permit.

Study In Canada Without A Study Permit

  • Short-Term Study in Canada - A study permit is not required if the program of study is six months or less. 

  • Minor Children in Canada - Any minor child studying at pre-school, primary or secondary level and residing in Canada may study without a permit. This includes the children of temporary students or workers, as well as permanent residents and Canadian citizens.

  • Family Members and Private Staff of Diplomats - Any family member or member of private staff for a foreign diplomat or foreign accredited representative does not require a permit to study in Canada.

  • Members of Foreign Armed Forces in Canada: Any member of the armed forces of a country that is a designated state under the Visiting Forces Act do not require a permit to study in Canada.
